Easy like Saturday Morning

Good Morning,

As I sit here and contemplate my life....I wonder what would have happened if I had never left New York when I did.Well, I guess I can't dwell on the past but live for the future. As you all know I have gotten back into modeling, and I am also a teacher. My goal is to do what I did not do 30 years ago on the stage, and promote children's safety. I have been promoting the radKIDs program quite a bit. Thursday, Oct 11, we filmed a segment for CBS Atlanta. I hope to post it soon. For now, please enjoy the pictures from the Natural Hair Show on October 7th.

Weekend is Here!

I have finally recuperated from last weekend. I am still thinking about all of those beautiful hair designs I saw. I wished I had taken more pictures. I did have fun trying the products and was able to purchase some of my favorite products. I will share at a later date. I do have some other fabulous pictures to share. There were two models on Saturday, and two on Sunday that had their body's painted. The artist is very talented. If I ever want to have my body painted. I will definitely call upon this young man. Enjoy the pics.

This model was part of the scene labeled African Safari. She was a toucan

Taliah Waajid's World Natural Hair Show

The weekend is finally over, and the Natural Hair Show is now history. I enjoyed myself, even though we had challenging wait times. The amazing hair styles that were seen at the show were to die for. I wish I sometimes had locks. There were so many amazing styles. I was able to take pictures of some of the participants backstage and on stage. Please enjoy.

The Model

I can remember many years ago when I first decided to try my hand at modeling. I was a young 18 year old who had never done anything like that. Before long, I was enjoying strutting my stuff
on the stage. Before I could get jobs, I had to take pictures, and put together a "book". There was
not a big demand for high fashion models where I lived, but we did our best to portray ourselves
as "Super Models". Below are some of the first pictures I ever took. Enjoy.

The first modeling picture I ever took. Courtesy of Geno Johnson.

My first professional photo. Beauty of the Week
for the local newspaper.

One of my favorite things to do is climb trees. The picture above this one
is from the shoot of me in the tree. It was  chosen for the Beauty of the Week photo.

I enjoyed being a model. As you can see from the pictures posted the other day, I have decided to try modeling again. I not only enjoy it, but I think it is important to show the younger generation how important it is to take care of yourself when you are younger. It does pay off 30 years later. I am living proof.

Fall into Fashion!

Hello, it has been some time since I posted here. September was a busy, busy month. I auditioned for Taaliah Wajid's World Natural Hair Show, and I was selected to participate! The show will be held at the Convention Center, October 6th & 7th. I attended the show in April and it was the bomb! Now I get to participate. I also modeled in a show in downtown Lawrenceville. The show was hosted by SoJe Emporium-Salon ElleVen. My hair was done by Nakia Williams, the owner of the shop. SoJe Emporium has an eclectic array of items, that are gently used, and there are new items for sale as well.

The clothes that I modeled can be purchased from the emporium. Sorry......but I purchased the black dress, and the teal dress, they fit so well. I actually wanted to buy the sweater as well, and the black and white dress. Maybe they will be there at the end of the month. Please enjoy the pictures from the Emporium.

Sweater:  Chico's  Original Price: $125.00

Pamela and the audience.

The jewelry presentation in black

Nice wool dress: Available
Belt: Available
Booty: Mine

I love the way the dress felt. It was wool. A very nice blend. Size 6.
The presentation of date wear.

I loved this dress so much I bought it. It was only $22.00. I bought some great earrings that match as well. They have a lot more to offer.

This dress was nice as well. The back is actually like a web. It felt good too. It is still available for purchase. The red belt, and red shoes complimented the outfit nicely. I would buy them as a set.

Our last presentation.
